When will the season start?

The first produce delivery day usually is in the first week of June. Depending on the weather, however the start could be delayed, if the Spring is very cold and the produce isn’t ready. This year 2025, is a VERY late Spring, so therefore the harvest season is predicted to start late June or early July.

How does the Market Style CSA system work?

We are not doing door delivery anymore. Please accommodate for pick up in your town. There will be a drop off location from which you will have to pick it up yourself at an allotted time.

What if I am not able to pick up from the pick up location in the allotted time?

Any produce not picked up in the allotted time will be taken back to the farm and you will have another chance to pick up your produce at Moscow Market.

Where do I put the box or bag?

Please select a location accessible by your driveway, that is cool and shady in the afternoon. If it gets very hot, please set out a cooler with an ice pack on Thursdays. Place your last weeks box or bag there for retrieval.

Can I change my box size if I feel that there is too much or too little produce?

Yes, you may upgrade or downgrade your size at any point in the season and we will adjust your payment or refund accordingly.

What happens if I take a vacation or will be gone within the season?

You can find a neighbor, family member, or friend that is willing to pick up the produce at your house after delivery. Or you can simply forfeit those weeks of produce and no deliveries will be made. Sorry, no refunds.

What if there is produce I don’t like to eat?

One of the biggest challenges of being a member of a CSA is that you have to be creative in your cooking. The produce you will receive is seasonal, however you don’t know what exactly you get until harvest day. You’re encouraged to try new recipes and foods, however if there is consistently some produce you don’t like, then please let me know and I will try to accommodate your request.

What if I want a larger quantity of produce?

If you have a larger family gathering, or want to do some preserving, just let us know. We will try to fill your request. Our garden is your garden.

How can I help out in the CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture relies heavily on community member involvement. There are volunteers and work-trade helpers that participate every Tuesday and Thursday morning. We are grateful for members who are willing to help out with harvest, distribution, delivery, and babysitting. It is also a great way to learn something new about gardening.
